ListingRadius

Privacy

This page says exactly what ListingRadius collects, where it came from, how long it is kept, and how to make it stop.

Where the addresses come from

Business contact information for licensed Georgia real estate agents comes from the public licensee file published by the Georgia Real Estate Commission. That file is the only source of a recipient address, obtained as a public record for the Commission's standard fee. ListingRadius does not buy marketing lists from data brokers, does not scrape MLS rosters, and does not collect consumer addresses at all. Along with the address, the roster supplies the licensee's name, license number, status, role, registered firm, and the firm's business address, which is geocoded so a listing can be matched to the offices nearest it.

What is measured in an email

Every message contains a one pixel tracking image. When a mail client loads that image, ListingRadius records that the message was opened, when, the user agent string the client sent, and a keyed hash of the requesting IP address. Many mail clients, Apple Mail Privacy Protection among them, load that image on the recipient's behalf; those loads are labelled as proxy or bot opens and are reported separately from human opens.

Links in the message are click tracked. A click goes to a ListingRadius address first, which records the click, then redirects to the destination. The recorded click carries the destination URL, the time, the user agent, and the same keyed IP hash.

The IP address itself is never stored. It is hashed with an HMAC key that is minted fresh for each calendar day and then discarded after 24 hours. Once that day's key is gone, that day's hashes cannot be linked back to any address by anyone, including us.

How long anything is kept

Raw provider event payloads are kept for 90 days. User agent strings are kept for 90 days. The daily IP hash key is discarded after 24 hours. Event rows are kept for 13 months and then aggregated per blast. The local outbox is kept for 7 days. Uploaded roster files are deleted as soon as the import succeeds. Listing photos and the call to action link return 410 Gone thirty days after the listing ends. Audit rows are kept for 2 years. Suppression records are kept forever, because forgetting that someone asked to stop hearing from us is the one mistake we will not make. A purge job runs nightly to enforce every line of this paragraph.

How to stop receiving mail

Every message carries a one click unsubscribe link and a header your mail client can act on directly. Unsubscribing suppresses your address for every sender on the platform, permanently, and no administrator can reverse it. A preferences link in the same footer narrows what you receive without stopping it entirely: county, price range, MLS, and frequency.

Sharing

The roster and the engagement data are not sold, rented, or shared. The email delivery provider and the geocoding service see only what they need to do their job: the provider sees the message and the recipient address, and the geocoder sees office street addresses with no name attached.
